9/11 Memorial — Wyckoff, NJ

To be unveiled November 7, 2026, for the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001

The 9/11 Memorial in Jean-Claude Marchionni's Midland Park studio, a curved three-block limestone relief raised on wooden trestles: at the centre, the Twin Towers rise straight above a row of small standing figures; at the left, a 19th-century horse-drawn fire engine with a fireman's helmet draped in the American flag at its base; at the right, the Statue of Liberty on her pedestal, torch raised. The whole piece unfolds in a single flowing wave.

Jean-Claude Marchionni’s most ambitious commission of the past decade: a memorial of three carved limestone blocks, shaped by hand over thirteen months in his Midland Park studio — carved in high relief on both sides, one for the nation’s memory, one for Wyckoff’s own.
